How to Overcome Writing Challenges, Get Unstuck, and Transform Your Academic Writing Practice
December 1st, 6pm Eastern (New York Time)
**FREE**
Do you sometimes feel like you’re writing in a vacuum?
Do you have trouble finding peers who understand your academic writing struggles?
Have you become overwhelmed by the complexity of writing about your research?
I hear you.
I got my start in scholarly writing as an R1 research director years ago. In that position, I endured the pressure of high expectations for the grants and manuscripts I produced. In only four years, I enrolled in a doctoral program, wrote my dissertation, and completed my degree, all while writing 11 publications and securing three multi-million-dollar grants. Looking back, I don’t know how I did it.
The challenges I faced are not foreign to most doctoral writers and early career faculty… I worked full-time while writing my dissertation, and I struggled to stay motivated. I felt lonely and isolated, and I was often plagued by self-doubt.
Does this sound familiar?
If so, I invite you to attend my upcoming *free* webinar on How to Overcome Common Writing Challenges, Get Unstuck, and Transform Your Academic Writing Practice.
During this webinar, we’ll cover:
- Common pitfalls and challenges faced by academic writers
- How to navigate self-doubt, perfectionism, loneliness, and overwhelm

- Proven strategies for getting unstuck
- Academic writing best practices
This webinar is appropriate for doctoral candidates, postdocs, and early-career faculty. Includes time for Q and A.
