Are you a doctoral student embarking on the crucial journey of crafting your thesis or dissertation proposal?
Are you finding the process of conducting your literature review daunting?
We understand that navigating through a sea of research can be overwhelming.
Our two-day Literature Review Bootcamp is designed to equip graduate students with the skills and confidence to conduct a comprehensive and effective literature review.
Why is writing a literature review so challenging?
The literature review in a dissertation or thesis proposal provides a foundation of knowledge on your research topic, situates your research in the context of existing literature, and makes a case for why your research is needed. The literature review must align with the other major components of the dissertation proposal (i.e., problem statement, purpose statement, research questions, and theoretical framework). To write a literature review, you must learn how to effectively search, organize, analyze, and synthesize literature. Many graduate students struggle to master these skills and find themselves trapped in cycles of revision.
